এই ব্যাগের প্রধান উপকরন শীতল পাটি এক ধরনের মেঝেতে পাতা আসন। এটি বাংলাদেশের একটি ঐতিহ্যগত কুটির শিল্প। মুর্তা বা পাটি বেত বা মোস্তাক (বৈজ্ঞানিক নাম: Schumannianthus dichotomus) নামক গুল্মজাতীয় উদ্ভিদের ছাল থেকে এগুলো তৈরি হয়ে থাকে। হস্তশিল্প হিসাবে এগুলোর যথেষ্ট কদর রয়েছে। শহরে শো-পিস এবং গ্রামে এটি মাদুর ও চাদরের পরিবর্তে ব্যাপকভাবে ব্যবহৃত হয়।
